Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic COVID-19 Protocols

We are so happy to see our patients again! This has been a challenging time for our communities and we are all looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to the safety of our staff, clients and patients.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Veterinary Association (AVA), as well as the federal regulations from the CDC and OSHA. The current recommendations for patient care include the standard precautions that we’ve always adhered to. In addition, we have implemented additional disinfectant protocols throughout the day.

Update June 2023* You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

We are now offering semi curbside services. When you arrive for your appointment, please wait in your car and text (315) 896-2658 or call to let us know you have arrived. When your pet’s room is ready, one of our technicians will text you, meet you at the door, and you can accompany your pet to their exam. All pickups (Medication and Patient Pickups) can come right inside to be checked out. If you prefer to stay curbside, please let us know. We would be happy to still accommodate this service!

Masks are currently optional – Regardless of vaccine status. We kindly ask you to wear a mask if you are sick or experiencing any symptoms.

As many of you are aware. Our exam rooms are on the smaller side, so we kindly and respectfully request to limit the amount of people coming in for your pets appointment. This helps with your pet’s experience as well, as sometimes the more people in a small area can become stressful and overwhelming for your pet.
